John Purifoy
John Purifoy is an ASCAP composer and arranger with many published choral anthems, cantatas, and keyboard collections. His works have been recorded by Carol Lawrence, Anita Kerr, Chicago Master Chorale and other artists. Currently a freelance arranger, composer and producer, he also presents sacred choral clinics across the country. John lives in Knoxville, Tennessee with his wife Vicki; they have two grown sons, Drew and Michael. His work for chorus and orchestra, We Hold These Truths, narrated by Alex Haley, won the 1987 Freedoms Foundation Award for musical programs.
