How do I find music on the Pepper® website?
There are many ways to find music on our website. Here are some of the most popular searches used on our site:
Title search - If you know all or part of the title you're looking for, enter it in the title search box at the top of the page. Because titles can have more than one way of being listed, you may want to try entering keywords only if you don't get the expected results.
Composer search - For best results in a composer, arranger or editor search, enter the person's last name only. You can search for composer only, or search for composer in combination with the title.
Catalog # - This refers to the Pepper® catalog number, found in our print catalogs or here on the website. Category or Style - Items in our on-line catalog are presented according to musical style or other relevant categories on pages tailored for each product area.
Advanced Search - Our advanced search (make that a clickable link) allows you to search on a variety of criteria including: keyword(s); type of music; voice or instrument; difficulty level; items that are in stock; table of contents for song collections; title and composer, arranger or editor.

How do I register to use Pepper®'s online services?
All of Pepper®'s online services are available without the need to register. During the process of your first order placement, you will be prompted to register with Pepper®. Services implying an existing registration include order tracking, billing/shipping account history, music clubs and previously suspended orders.

I already have a traditional account(s) with Pepper®, how do I register to access these account(s) online?
Customers with an existing account(s) who have not yet registered for our online services may do so by sending an email with complete account information, email address and chosen password to satisfaction@jwpepper.com.
Once you have submitted the necessary information to register your account(s) for online access, you will receive an email confirming your email address and chosen password.

Do I need to register separately for each account I'm affiliated with?
No. You do not need a separate email login and password for each organization you are affiliated with. You will be presented with a list of each accounts' shipping and billing options during the checkout process. If you wish to add affiliations to your registration profile, you may either call us at 1-800-345-6296 or email your request to support@jwpepper.com.

What is the difference between a definite and an approval order?
An Approval Order is only available to institutional, community and church organizations that have an established billing account with Pepper®. Ordering Music on Approval permits you to receive single copies of music to peruse for 30 days without being billed. This permits you to review music at your leisure and identify items to be ordered at a later date. At the end of the 30-day approval period you will be billed for those items you have retained. All music orders placed with Pepper® are covered by our
100% Total Satisfaction Guarantee. Postage for items returned on Approval Orders is assumed by the customer.
A Definite Order refers to a regular order in which you know you definitely wish to purchase an items(s). All music orders placed with Pepper® are covered by our Total Satisfaction Guarantee --- If for any reason you are not fully satisfied with the music you purchase from Pepper® or with our service, return it.

How do I view scores and hear sound clips?
When a Real Audio file or .pdf Score Image is available, you will see a heading called "Available MultiMedia Files" and listed below it will be links for each asset available. To view score images you will need Adobe Acrobat's free Reader downloadable from
www.adobe.com. To listen to Real Audio files, you will need the Real Audio player, also available at no charge from www.real.com. Both of these plug-ins will need to be installed on your machine to take advantage of multimedia files.

How do I check the status of my order or track a shipment?
As a registered user of Pepper®'s online services, you will have accees to your organization's account to view previous invoices (whether ordered online or not) and shipment tracking. You may access this area by clicking on the text link at the top of each page that says Review My Account/Track an Order.
