Sam Derenzis, Vice President and Manager of the J.W. Pepper location in Los Angeles, was inducted into the East Stroudsburg High School South Music Hall of Fame on Tuesday, October 20, 2009.   This Music Hall of Fame Concert continues an eight-year tradition of honoring graduates of East Stroudsburg High School in Pennsylvania who have  made significant contributions in the field of music. DeRenzis contributed actively to his school music program during his high school years and chose to continue his support of the arts as a career path.  After graduating from Gettysburg College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education, DeRenzis applied his training to the print music industry where he served as Director of Sales for Shawnee Press from 1975 through 1991.   DeRenzis later managed the Los Angeles store for Malecki Music.  When J.W. Pepper acquired Malecki Music in 2004, DeRenzis took on the role of manager of the store in Kansas City, Missouri.  In 2008, DeRenzis returned to California to manage J.W. Pepper?s southern California store where he is responsible for serving the southern California, Arizona and Hawaii music communities.
