-Grand Rapids store's Kristine Graham recognized for national award.

Kristine Graham of Pepper's store in Grand Rapids was recently announced winner of the Sales and Marketing Award by J.W. Pepper and Son, Inc. Graham draws on her prior experience as a Customer Service Representative as well as her extensive knowledge of keyboard and choral music to enrich the experience of customers that enter the store. Kristine has a talent for creating eye-catching displays that meet the seasonal music needs of customers, including her recent display featuring wedding music entitled Goin' to the Chapel, Gonna Get Married. A previous display of piano and classroom books focusing on the theme of sports March Madness was also a musical favorite.

According to manager Mandy Kubik, Graham's habit of looking at the big picture and taking any challenge that comes her way is evident in her knack for problem-solving for customers looking for the right music. Graham has also recently begun to participate in a company-wide program to make sure all stores have good current product available for customers.

Graham also does extensive work in the greater Michigan music community through her involvement with the Michigan School Band and Orchestra committee, aiding them in selecting their band festival music. Graham worked with publishers on these special orders and met with each of the 12 district presidents to make certain that the right amount of music is ordered for each event. She goes beyond what is expected to ensure everything runs smoothly for these events.
