Durufle's final work, composed in 1977 for a cappella mixed voices, is newly published with an historical introduction in English, and with French and English text.
Composed in memory of Durufle's father, Requiem is mostly derived from Gregorian Chant. This Andantino movement is scored for choir and organ by the composer.
