What Does This Change Mean For You? - Answers to Frequently Asked Questions
How can I place an order?
To assist customers ordering out of Malecki catalogs, all Malecki product numbers are cross-referenced with Pepper catalog numbers so ordering is easy.
Toll free line: 1-800-345-6296
Toll free fax: 1-800-260-1482
Websites: jwpepper.com and PianoAtPepper.com
Will I need to open a new account?
Probably not. When possible, Malecki accounts have been made available on the Pepper system. If this is not the case, you will be prompted to set up a Pepper account when you are placing an order.
What about orders pending with Malecki?
Any orders pending with Malecki Music as of May 1, 2004 will be filled by Pepper and shipped as soon as possible.
How do I pay my bills?
The invoice included with your shipment contains remittance information. If you have outstanding invoices to be paid, follow the instructions on those invoices. Even after May 1, 2004, Pepper will accept checks made payable to Malecki Music and Wingert-Jones.
What other differences will I experience?
There are more similarities than differences in how Pepper and Malecki serve customers. Most importantly, you can continue to expect great service, and to receive music quickly and reliably. Two areas that are different involve the billing of orders and approval ordering.
Billing: Pepper sends the invoice in the package for items as they ship. That means if it takes us three packages to complete your order, you will receive three separate invoices. Each invoice will share the same number, followed by a unique letter to identify that particular shipment.
Approval Ordering: Pepper has the most generous approval ordering policy in the industry. Customers are welcome to order one copy of any product they wish to see, and they will not be billed until the end of the approval period. The typical approval period is 30 days, however, customers have the option of extending that period (up front or during the approval period) for up to 99 days if thay have the need. It's a real bonus when making the most of your budget dollars.
