This our best selling young/beginning band title, arranged for flexible ensemble! Parts are included for any combination of woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments. There are three parts and a bassline, along with some tips and suggestions on how to assign your musicians to parts. The piece itself is built around a motif of one note, two notes, three notes, and then four notes - hence the title. The range is limited to six notes, so even your youngest musicians can join in. Students will love the cool (but easy to teach) syncopation and the motifs that return throughout the piece. The percussion parts are simple but varied and active to keep everyone involved. It is sure to become a staple in your young band repertoire!
