This gospel style, medium tempo swing chart starts off with an a cappella section for the winds, then brings in the rhythm section on the second chorus to boost the energy. All horn sections have interesting parts and there are written solos for 1st alto and 1st trumpet after which an uplifting modulation brings it home. This great little chart features easy ranges and a flexible instrumentation that will sound full with less than the standard big band horns. A nicely written, fun chart!
