It's great for year-round use, but would be especially scary at Halloween.  The composer describes it as "a dark and sinister night full of strange happenings and ghoulish encounters."  Opening with a menacing march as creatures emerge from the darkness, dissonances soon appear in upper strings, including the chance to play any pitch in the chaos!  Finally the audience hears footsteps in retreat from the coming dawn.
