All your beginning players need for success in this arrangement is the G Major scale!  The perfect first orchestra piece, this is developmentally strong and lovely music as well. Shared melody and simple harmonies allow ensemble practice on lowered 2nd position.  A great selection to have in the folder for the first orchestra rehearsal.
