Gordon Goodwin's Big Phat Band continue their jazz juggernaut with That's How We Roll, their April, 2011 release of Goodwin compositions and Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue! You won't find better contemporary big-band writing and performance than with this CD featuring the best musicians on the Los Angeles recording scene. All the "Phat Band" stalwarts are present here including Wayne Bergeron and Eric Marienthal with a cappella supergroup Take 6, saxophonists Gerald Albright and Dave Koz, and bassist Marcus Miller featured as guest artists.
