Blade is a multi-percussion solo that requires coordinated independence - relentlessly! Written for an abbreviated drum set, and complemented by three semi-resonant metals of the performer's choosing, the piece uses a series of hemiola-driven rhythmic gestures to weave a complex tapestry of percussive sound.
