Tempo Do Mar
This brilliant impressionistic arrangement by Claus Ogerman was written for Antonio Carlos Jobim and recorded by the pianist on his 1973 "Matte Pere" album. This studio ensemble concert piece would provide wonderful contrast during any program. The arrangement calls for six woodwinds, most of whom double on piccolo, alto flute, oboe, or bass clarinet. This has been edited, engraved, and published directly from Mr. Ogerman's original score, with his consent. Instrumentation: Woodwind 1: Flute; Woodwind 2: Flute/Piccolo; Woodwind 3: Flute; Woodwind 4: Alto Flute; Woodwind 5: Alto Flute/Oboe; Woodwind 6: Bass Clarinet/Oboe/Piccolo/Alto Flute; Violin I; Violin II; Cello; Nylon String Guitar; Piano; Bass.
