Stan Pethel has creatively arranged this Isaac Watts text and I.P. Breedlove tune from The Sacred Harp. The rejoicing of the shepherds is summed up in the last line, "Mortals shall know their maker's love at their redeemer's birth." An excellent choice for the smaller choir!
