Here's another great funk chart from Jeff Jarvis! A solid introduction sets up the tuneful melody and the driving funk groove is coupled with a rich chord progression to give this chart plenty of appeal. Solo sheets for E-flat, B-flat C, and Bass Clef instruments are included for the open solo section. Optional parts are provided for flute clarinet, horn in F, tuba, and vibes. While scored for full jazz ensemble, this chart will sound full and complete with optional reduced instrumentation. Frequent articulations are provided for the horns and the rhythm section parts are an integral part of the arrangement, not written as an afterthought.
