Taking a different approach to David's prayer in Psalm 51, this lovely, calming anthem gives the sense that God's forgiveness is abundant to those with a contrite heart.  A flowing triplet motif is well suited to express the passion behind this well-known prayer. Useful for times of confession or penitence, it is also meaningful for the beginning of the Lenten season.
