Like his 12 Christmas Duets published earlier, these are not for beginners, but are arranged so as to be enjoyable to play for intermediate and more advanced players. In addition to being a great resource for teachers to play at lessons with their students, these duets are suitable for informal Christmas performances and some are appropriate for church services. Included are: The First Noel; Angels We Have Heard on High; God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen; Jingle Bells; and an arrangement of Joy to the World that is more traditional than the one published in 12 Christmas Duets. This edition for bass clef instruments is compatible with "Five More Christmas Duets for Trumpets," but not with the other editions of this title. These arrangements have been transposed and revised so as to be appropriate for bass clef wind instruments and some keys are not the same as those other editions.
