A cappella Publisher Desc.  Few of my works are written in a ternary tempo. The poem by Pablo Neruda, Sonnet LXIX, from 100 Sonnets of Love, filled with an exquisitely romantic atmosphere, inspired me to write this piece more in the style of a song, than in that of a madrigal, to which I am more accustomed. The song unfolds little by little, just like a rose.
