Every instrument part is important. It has a purpose. Every part is vital to the overall performance of the instrument. Should even the smallest part, screw, pad or cork be missing or faulty the ability of this instrument to speak is severely limited or impossible. Not only must the parts be there but they must be clean, aligned and in perfect position for maximum response and sound. Just like our instruments, we all play better when we are together. When we are clear and focused our music becomes greater than the sum of our parts.
