Publisher Desc.  This tune captures the funky feel of an Uptown New Orleans parade! It features a traditional second-line feel that has the violins and violas playing a bluesy melody over an extremely funky cello and bass line. There is a soli section that trades back and forth between the drum set and the ensemble. Written solos are included for violin, viola, and cello, or the students may improvise over the form of the tune. Head on out to the parade and enjoy the St. Charles Avenue Strut!
