Alleluia, Song of Gladness
This setting of LAUDA ANIMA is festive and uplifting. An extended introduction is followed by four stanzas with short interludes between stanzas 2-3 and 3-4. Stanza 3 is set for SATB a cappella voices. The final stanza is unison with descant, ending with a fanfare reminiscent of the introduction and a four part "Alleluia, Amen!" Instrumental parts include: trumpets I & 2 in B-flat and C, horn in F (substitute for trombone 1), trombone 1 & 2, timpani.
