Disco diva and witness to a crime Deloris Van Cartier is put in protective custody in the one place the cops are sure she won't be found: a convent! Disguised as a nun, she finds herself at odds with the rigid lifestyle. Using her unique musical talents, Deloris breathes new life into the church, the choir, and community - but in doing so, blows her cover! But the criminals chasing her are no match for Deloris and her newfound sisterhood. This condensed version of the Broadway show is approximately 60 minutes in length and has plenty of roles for a large cast. This tribute to the power of friendship and cooperation features powerful gospel music and outrageous dancing that your young actors will love to perform!
