Bill Swick's Beginning Guitar Class Method - Quarter Two
This reproducible resource/method covers notes on strings 4, 5 and 6 in first position over 51 pages of materials. This text contains 59 songs which combine the previously learned notes on strings 1-3 with the new notes learned on strings 4-6. At the completion of this text, students will be able to play all of the notes in the keys of C major and A minor on all of the strings in first position. This text is intended as either a stand-alone class method or as a supplement to any beginning guitar text. Using this resource as a supplement provides rich classroom activities to enhance and fill in the gaps other beginning guitar methods - which are usually written for individual use and not for the classroom - leave. As most school quarters last 45 instructional days, there is enough material for more than a new page every single day.
