Bill Swick's Beginning Guitar Class Method - Quarters 1 & 2 Mixed

This is a specialized and reproducible text intended to solve the long-term problem of teaching a mixed class of beginning students and students who have one quarter of experience. This edition mirrors Quarter 1 page for page, but it is written down an octave so you may teach the notes on the three lower strings to the more advanced students while teaching the same notes on the top three strings to the students who are just starting. Additional materials are included for the more advanced students. This text is intended as either a stand-alone class method or as a supplement to any beginning guitar text. Using this resource as a supplement provides rich classroom activities to enhance and fill in the gaps other beginning guitar methods - which are usually written for individual use and not for the classroom - leave. As most school quarters last 45 instructional days, there is enough material for more than a new page every single day.
