Bill Swick's C. Rose Studies for Guitar

This reproducible volume is the third in a series of single-string studies intended to assist in improving sight-reading and finger placement. After students have completed the 36 First Position Studies and the 36 Wohlfahrt Studies, they will be ready for these 21 clarinet studies by C. Rose adapted for guitar. These studies cover up to five sharps and three flats; they utilize the full range of the guitar with arpeggio studies and string crossings. These studies may be played with a pick or finger-style. These studies have been tested repeatedly with advanced high school students - your class as a whole will become better at ensemble playing as students extend their playing range and improve sight-reading.
