Big Creek Memories

"Big Creek Memories" was composed to remember my youth at Big Creek Park in Canton, Illinois. The first part is entitled "Beautiful Fall", which is composed to be very musical and lyrical. This section reminds me of the beauty of the fall colors, combined with the big trees and spacious scenery. The second part is entitled "Running Through the Park", which reminds me of my time running cross country meets and practices in this beautiful park. This work is dedicated to Charlie Schwalm. Coach Schwalm was an American History Teacher, and Cross Country Coach at Canton High School. He truly cared about his students and runners. Thank you Coach Schwalm for everything that you have done for countless students and athletes.
