This song is titled Pieknosc which translates to beauty in Polish, the
origin of my last name. I got married in July 2021 and this song was
considered to be what my wife would walk down the aisle to. We ended up
choosing a different selection, but I still was happy with how the
composition turned out. It is a joyous piece that begins with simple
arpeggios that have a forward motion as guests enter. The theme then develops
and gets faster and more involved as the wedding party begins to walk. It is
most triumphant when the bride is walking down the aisle. When she reaches
the end of her walk, with her father next to her, an important moment
happens. He gives her away to the groom as the groom's parents watch nearby.
They watch their children join together as one. I believe I have captured
through music, the emotions that are felt and expressed in this moment.
