A cappella
This motet cycle features five chant melodies first published in the ninth century. Varied in tempo and mood, each setting captures the rhythmic freedom and of the original chants while adding the depth and dimension of the mixed choir. Suitable for concert or liturgical functions, the motets work as stand-alone pieces or as a set. Featured chant themes include: "Veni Creator Spiritus" (Come Creator Spirit), "Emitte Spirutum Tuum" (Send Forth Thy Spirit), "Qui In Me Credit" (He That Believeth in Me), "Caritas Dei" (The Love of God),
and "Veni Sancte Spiritus" (Come Holy Spirit).
