Publisher Desc.  Interjectory is an episodic piece built on the octatonic scale and a triad that contains both the major and minor third providing a juxtaposition of consonance and dissonance at the same moment. The middle of the piece contrasts the opening with a more lyrical cello and an upset ostinato in the piano that then brings us back to the material from the beginning.
