This hymn setting of Psalm 23 based on the tune from the Scottish Psalter (CRIMOND) is given a lovely pastoral treatment. Beginning simply in unison, the choral writing becomes richer as the verses progress. Supported by a delicate accompaniment (piano or harp,) with optional flute, this anthem is easily prepared yet stunning when presented.
