The newest addition to the Hymn Tunes for Horn series, this is a
contrapuntal setting for horn and euphonium of the popular Christmas carol
based on a 17th-century German madrigal by Michael Praetorius. This duo is
distilled from the arrangement for brass trio.
Separate parts are provided to avoid awkward page turns. The euphonium part
may also be played by trombone, bassoon, or cello, and (with included
supplementary Bb treble part) baritone TC or tenor sax.
Grade 4 - Duration 2:30
