Reflections of Young and Old

Here are two contrasting settings for the young tenor-bass choir that introduce foundational concepts to the beginning singer. They can be performed as a set or as stand-alone pieces and offer the option to sing in unison or in two parts. The Night Is Dark and Loud is in a minor key and a slower feel in 3/4, while Courage brings a major key and an energized tempo in 4/4. There are many opportunities for musical growth through altered tones and accessible polyphonic entrances.
