The traditional English carol is set in a modern a cappella setting with an African influence. Featuring a soloist (or group of soloists) throughout, the divisi choral harmonies bring in a rhythmic background with both English and Swahili lyrics that layer and build with modulations to a glorious crescendo before backing off to a hushed ending.
