Tic - Tac - Toe
Publisher Desc.
If you know what you are doing, you can't lose at Tic-Tac-Toe!
-a famous tic-tac-toe player
This piece is in rondo form, that is A-B-A-C-A-D-A where A is a recurring
theme and B,C, & D are variations. It includes three igamesi of
Tic-Tac-Toe which one can hear as the players declare their iXisi and
Oisi during the performance. These games could even be drawn on stage by
a friend of the performers. The guitarist wins game one, followed by the
mandolinistis sigh of disappointment. Game two is a tie, and the
mandolinist decisively wins the final game. All games are iplayedi during
the A-sections. In a strict rondo, the A section is always the same music,
but here I have chosen to slightly vary the theme each time it recurs.
