This a cappella Advent hymn won first prize at the Cincinnati Camerata Composition Contest in 2015. The text of this hymn, also known as The Song of the Nuns of Chester,  goes back to the year 1425. The composition is powered by a catchy melodic phrase that is taken up by the individual voices again and again and combined with jazzy harmonies.
