Get in My Way - Choreography Video

Join award-winning choreographer Mike Weaver, former National ACDA RR chair, in dancing to Robin Thicke's pop hit Get in My Way. Your students will be energized, motivated, and dance ready, all without needing to hire a choreographer! The choreography bundle includes a step-by-step instructional video as well as a StageBook code, which opens customizable blocking and formation charts (StageBook is available for download on the iTunes Store). Choral arrangements must be purchased separately.

Level of Difficulty: Concert Level 2 (Please see important information below for the difficulty rubric.)

Choreography Video Difficulty Levels

Concert Level 1: Mostly unison movement and acting, technically easy to learn.

Concert Level 2: Some unison and/or mirrored (partner opposite) movement, which can include count-offs, ripples, and A/B paired combinations. Breakdown of occasional technical dance steps. Moderately easy to learn.

Concert Level 3: Moderate to advanced levels of movement. Includes style-specific steps and combinations associated with jazz, modern, and theater dance. May include advanced techniques in footwork, partnering, and/or lifts. Ideal for ensembles with general experience learning longer choreographed movement phrases.
