The Swan

Rainier Maria Rilke's poem honoring the elegance of the majestic swan is set sensitively and expressively. Elegantly intertwining the text and subtle musical devices, the voices capture the swan's glide on flowing water, represented by the piano accompaniment. Adding the string quartet will really enhance the serene feel of the accompaniment.
