Thee

Best known for her Anne of Green Gables novels, here Lucy Maud Montgomery's poem The Difference shimmers in an a cappella setting for treble choirs by a composer who, like Montgomery, is also from Prince Edward Island. Written as a gentle song that reflects on the bittersweet aspects of life, it is a soft-stated and musically sensitive selection with a rich harmonic palette.
