Oh! Dear! What Can the Matter Be?

Waiting around for Johnny to bring gifts back from the fair just isn't going to work! In this old English folk song setting, we let him just go ahead and stay at the fair. Beginning in a standard style with a dance-like piano accompaniment, the arrangement builds in countermelodies that have the sopranos and altos getting back at that unreliable Johnny. This is great for expressing character and humor!
