This lively arrangement of CWM RHONDDA is filled with exciting rhythms and techniques. Malleted bass patterns in 7/8 meter create an intriguing accompaniment underneath the hymn tune. A slower section follows with handchimes in a flowing style and a lyrical treatment of the tune with handbells in the treble. The upper treble bells switch to handchimes before a return to the 7/8 rhythm and an uplifting, joyous conclusion. This arrangement is a delight and is appropriate for most any time of year for worship, concert, or festival use.
