"Fractus" is Latin for"broken" – here it means the work has been broken into small, rough pieces that your musicians put together. After the opening section, a seemingly quiet lull is quickly undermined by subtle moving rhythms under the surface. This also features a variety of articulation styles to create excitement and intrigue.
