Written for concert band, this piece takes its inspiration from the powerful high‑altitude winds that shape Earth's weather and climate. Fast‑moving musical gestures and energetic textures evoke the speed and intensity of these atmospheric currents, with a "howling tube" in the percussion symbolizing the sound of wind. The dramatic yet accessible writing captures both natural force and motion while remaining practical for modest instrumentation. Beneath its energy, the work is also a call to care for the environment that sustains us.
