Courage and Faith

Inspired by words of Saint Francis de Sales, this Grade 3 concert band work explores resilience, reflection, and renewal. Bold, energetic passages alternate with lyrical moments of introspection, tracing a journey through challenge toward confidence. An opening horn call establishes a sense of growing courage, then contrasting sections allow space for reflection before building to an uplifting conclusion. Expressive and purposeful, it offers ensembles a chance to develop contrast, phrasing, and musical storytelling in a meaningful concert setting.
