Viva Morales

An exciting up-tempo Latin scorcher for high school jazz ensembles – the thrills are nonstop as the augmented rhythm section churns out an intense foundation for saxophone and trumpet melodies. There are written or improvised solos for alto, trumpet, and tenor, followed by call and response between the horns and the drums. The piece comes to an unexpectedly beautiful choral finish. Put this fiery samba in front of your band and feel the burn!
