First Steps Together

Written as a celebratory piece for multilevel bands, this work honors the shared beginnings of young musicians while looking confidently toward what comes next. Parts for Grades 1 and 2 allow players of varying experience levels to contribute meaningfully to the music. Accessible and satisfying for both levels, it works especially well for large combined groups and festival finales, offering a joyful, forward‑looking statement about growth, community, and taking those first musical steps together.
