Ceres

A symphonic tone poem that portrays the dwarf planet Ceres through eight contrasting sections. Wild, forceful passages depict the planet's darker features, while calmer lyrical lines reveal gentler qualities. The work concludes with strong, forward‑moving chords that suggest movement into the future. Together with the companion piece Eris, it forms the composer's "Minor Planets" suite.
