Clap for Joy

Written for the students of the band and their director – a celebration of collaborative efforts resulting in wonderful music performances. Throughout the piece there are opportunities to reinforce different 6/8 rhythms through playing and clapping a call and response between different sections. The piece is a great choice to open your next concert and a meaningful opportunity to celebrate the joy that happens every day in your rehearsal hall.
