Switched On Pop Lesson Plans

Created as a collaboration between F-flat Books and the podcast Switched On Pop, this resource is intended for secondary-level music classrooms. Listening to songs they know and love, students explore elements of popular music and create original work based on specific themes. Each of the five lessons includes editable worksheets for students; a teaching guide including concepts, objectives, procedures, and connections to National Standards; and material from an episode of the podcast, which can be streamed on Spotify or accessed on the podcast website. Many lessons encourage using a DAW, while some invite students to use piano, guitar, or ukulele. Your students will love this interactive resource!
