There's a Song in the Air

This is an arrangement for brass quintet or sextet of a popular Christmas carol, penned in 1904 by American professor of Latin and composer of hymn tunes Karl P. Harrington (1861-1953), who also served as music editor of the 1905 edition of the Methodist Hymnal. His best-known hymn tune, “Christmas Song,” was written in 1904, setting the 19th-century poem “There’s a Song in the Air” by Josiah G. Holland. Grade 3 – Duration 2:35
