Once and for All
"Once And For All" powerfully depicts the physical and emotional experiences of our Lord's death and resurrection, beginning with the painful walk up Via Dolorosa and culminating with the exhilarating experience of Mary Magdalene at the tomb and the Lord's resurrection. This flexible, accessible cantata can be performed in its entirety for a full 40-minute service, or separated into a 22-minute Holy Week section that ends with soldiers at the foot of the cross (excellent for Good Friday) and an 18-minute section ideal for Easter morning which portrays the women at the tomb and Jesus' resurrection. Stylistically appropriate for both traditional and contemporary churches, this is a compelling, powerful cantata for Easter!
